HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
Nice enough staff, but i care little for that.
I want to start off by saying this is not a reflection of uhaul as a whole because I've used them before with good service. All their corporate owned locations are seemed to be above it all. The smaller places,that work thru them however are awesome. They apparently also hate uhaul so . . .
Worst customer service I've ever received in my entire life. The GM was VERY rude to every single customer he spoke too. Will never go here again.
In for a hitch installation on a toyada sienna. Told me it would be 2-3 hours. 4 hours later and they are still saying 20 minutes. Last time i did this myself with no lift it took me 3 hours, i only went to them because i assumed a pro would go faster.
My experience with this location was a good one. I had to make an emergency drop off because the brakes on the trailer caught fire and the staff was accommodating as was headquarters in coordinating the drop off.
I went to drop off my rental ay the 309 Colmar location and they were just rude. They just took the keys from me without any eye contact or even a pleasant hello. I got charged extra a few days later for cleaning and maintenance. It was recorded as being left muddy. I moved from a paved parking lot apartment to a paved driveway house so there was no mud anywhere in between. We called uhaul and was told the manager would call us in a few days and we had to call him after a week because we never got that call. The manager Rob was extremely rude over the phone and just wanted to nothing to do with me. He rushed me off the phone saying it is what it is. Long story short 309 Colmar location is run terribly by their manager.
Terrible customer service/interaction. Learn how to comunicate with the customer, so they know where they need to pick the truck up. Not sure if it was a computer error or not. I sheduled a pickup for close to my house, and they neglected to tell me the pickup location had changed. the confirmation email, and phone conversation I had never stated that it was different.
